Police Searching For Man Accused In Sex Assault Case: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Cudahy have released the identity of a man they are looking for, saying the man attempted to sexually assault a woman in Cudahy, only to venture in to Oak Creek in an attempt to track down his potential victim.

According to Cudahy police, on Jan. 4, officers responded to reports of two separate domestic violence incidents. Authorities say Paul J. Zillyette originally attempted to break into the victim's residence through a window. He ran from the area before police arrived. He later returned to the residence and broke into the victim's home through the front door, though he did not track down the victim, police say.

"Exercise caution if in contact with Paul J. Zillyette and contact police immediately if he is located," Cudahy police said.

Authorities say Zillyette also attempted to locate the victim in Oak Creek after the incidents in Cudahy and displayed a gun to a friend of the victim.

Cudahy Police Department has attempted to track down Zillyette, however have yet to find him. Police say they believe Zillyette is a real danger to the victim, and a warrant for his arrest is forthcoming.

Authorities say Zilyette stands about 5-foot-10, weighs about 250 pounds, has blue eyes and blonde hair, and has a tattoo on his neck of praying hands.
