Thursday Morning I-94 Accident Shut Down Traffic

OAK CREEK, WI — A traffic accident near Drexel Ave. in Oak Creek early Thursday snarled part of the morning commute and resulted in multiple injuries, authorities say.

According to a FOX 6-TV report, a total of four people were transported to the hospital after they were involved in a five-car crash in the northbound lanes of I-94 near Drexel Ave. at just after 5:30 a.m.

The freeway was fully re-opened later Thursday morning, authorities said.
