Work On Drexel Avenue And 10th Street Intersection Starts Tuesday

Road work on the Drexel Avenue and 10th Street intersection is expected to bring closures in the area for about a week starting Tuesday.

OAK CREEK, WI — Road work at the Drexel Avenue and 10th Street intersection in Oak Creek is scheduled to begin on Tuesday with closures expected in the area, the city announced.

The work will bring improvements to the intersection and is expected to last for about a week, the city said in a Facebook post. During the work, drivers will be restricted in the following ways:

  • Southbound traffic on 10th Street will not be able to cross or turn onto Drexel Avenue.
  • Eastbound traffic on Drexel Avenue will not be able to turn north onto 10th Street.
  • Northbound traffic on Wildwood Drive will not be able to cross Drexel Avenue.

Pedestrians will still be able to cross Drexel Avenue at 10th Street, the city said.
