WAUKESHA, WI — The City of Waukesha has started construction on Monday for a stretch of Arcadian Avenue just south of E. Main Street, the city said.

Arcadian Avenue between N. Hartwell Avenue and N. Greenfield Avenue will be dug up so the city can replace some underground utilities, the city said in a statement. The intersections at either end of the construction will remain open to traffic.

Contractors are expected to finish the project in September 2022, the city said. Detours are available around the avenue.
