Bullet Holes Found On Waukesha Home: Police

Waukesha police responded to a report of bullet holes and spent bullet casings on Sunday.

WAUKESHA, WI — A resident reported bullet holes along the front of their home Sunday morning in Waukesha.

Police found spent bullet casings in the 120 block of South Grandview Boulevard, according to the police log.

Police don't believe the duplex was the intended target, according to Waukesha Police Department Capt. Dan Baumann.

Officers questioned nearby residents and asked them to check their home cameras.

Neighbors told police they heard what sounded like several gunshots at 2:30 a.m. A resident said they heard four to five pops of gunfire and noticed a light-colored car with loud exhaust slowing or stopping in front of the house, the log said.
