Some Catholic Memorial Coaching Staff Resign Amid Investigation
The resignations happened after the school became aware of "concerning communication" between a coach and player, officials said.
WAUKESHA, WI — Some members of the coaching staff at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha have resigned amid an investigation into "concerning communication" between a coach and a player, director of school advancement Angela Cooper said Tuesday in a statement.
It's not clear how many staff members have resigned. Patch has reached out to the school for more information.
According to Cooper, the staff members worked with the varsity and junior varsity girls basketball teams. Previous basketball coach Nick Vitale is now the interim coach.
