One-Way Traffic On Sentry Drive and College Avenue Starts Thurs.

The traffic control change in Waukesha is part of the N/S Prairie Avenue, Sentry Drive and Sunset Street improvement project.

WAUKESHA, WI —Beginning Thursday, there will be one-way traffic only on Sentry Drive and College Avenue, according to the City of Waukesha. The change is part of an ongoing roadway reconstruction and underground utility improvements along N/S Prairie Avenue, Sentry Drive, W. College Avenue and W. Sunset Drive.

A map highlighting Thursday's traffic control change is available on the City of Waukesha's Facebook page.

According to the city, work on the project scheduled for this week is taking place along N/S Prairie Avenue (Philip Drive to St. Paul Avenue), W. Sunset Drive (Chapman Drive to Center Road) and W. Sunset Drive (Chapman Drive to Center Road).

On N/S Prairie Avenue, work will include: traffic signal conduit and base installation, topsoil and sod placement, permanent pavement marking and permanent sign installation

Work along W. Sunset Drive, will include: concrete pavement pouring and traffic signal pole base installation.

Meanwhile, work along Sentry Drive and W College Avenue will include: sanitary sewer bypass pipeline setup, erosion control setup and installation, sanitary sewer lining and concrete pavement removal.
