Town of Brookfield Police Officer Dies On Duty
Officer Donald Bishop dies Saturday from an apparent heart attack while responding to a call of a burglary in progress.
A 32-year-old Town of Brookfield police officer and former dispatcher with the Waukesha County Communications Center died Saturday morning of an apparent heart while responding to a burglary call.
Officer Donald Bishop joined the Town of Brookfield Police Department in August 2011, according to Patch's media partners at WISN 12 News. In addition to working as a county dispatcher, Bishop also was an officer for the Village of Eagle, the station reported.
