Vigil Photos: Waukesha Mourns 5 Who Died In Christmas Parade

Five people died, 10 children were sent to intensive care and 48 people were injured when an SUV plowed into the Waukesha Christmas parade.

WAUKESHA, WI — People across Waukesha turned out at candlelight vigils Monday to mourn the five people who were killed Sunday when an SUV crashed through barricades and entered the Waukesha Christmas parade route.

In all, 48 people were injured, including 10 children who were sent to intensive care. The suspect is in custody.

Several churches offered special prayer services to honor those who died and provide solace for those grieving them. Candlelight vigils popped up in Frame Park and Cutler Park in Waukesha to honor the victims.
