Waukesha Apartment Building Breaks Ground Along Fox River

The 116-unit apartment development will be completed in 2023.

WAUKESHA, WI—New apartments are coming to Waukesha. BridgeWalk Apartments along the Fox River in downtown Waukesha will be completed in in 2023.

The project broke ground in early January, according to Mandel Group Inc.

BridgeWalk will be one building with a combination of three and four-stories of apartments located over one level of underground parking.

The 116-unit apartment development will offer four floorplan options:
studio,

  • One-bedroom
  • Two-bedroom and
  • Three-bedroom units

Rent starts at $1,050 for studio apartments while the three-bedroom apartments will lease for $2,230, Mandel Group said.

Amenities will include a clubroom, fitness center, bike storage, bike‑repair room, a dog run, car wash, and a plaza that includes a green roof, covered area with grilling stations, and a fire pit, Mandel Group said.

Apartment units will include stainless steel appliances and in-unit washers and dryers.

The construction project will cost $30 million. The Waukesha Common Council approved $5.5 million in tax incremental financing in February 2021.

BridgeWalk is anticipated to be completed in early 2023.
