The worker had noticed four women acting impatient and rude over slow food service. He asked the women to leave, but they returned with a gun, the complaint said.

While the women were at the register, they began to argue with the worker while another worker tried to separate them. One of the women threw a punch at the worker as another woman pulled out the gun and shot him, according to the complaint.

Surveillance video also captured one of the women stomping on the victim's face, the complaint said.

Police interviewed Breanta Johnson on Feb 4. She told officers that and her group had a verbal confrontation with the worker and left to get a gun, the complaint said.

Police said she admitted to punching the worker in the face and knocking him to the ground.

Johnson said the gun was taken from her during the altercation, but said she didn't remember how. According to the complaint, she “blacked out” at that point during the fight.

The man who was shot is expected to survive, police said.
