Egg & Flour Restaurant To Close Wauwatosa Location

WAUWATOSA, WI— Almost a year after opening its Wauwatosa location, Egg & Flour will be closing its doors.

Egg & Flour Pasta Bar opened in March inside of Metcalfe's Market, 6700 W. State St.

The first Egg & Flour location opened in May of 2019 inside Crossroads Collective on Milwaukee's East Side and a second location opened in March 2020 in Bay View.

Owner Adam Pawlak said the restaurant plans to shut its doors sometime in early February. He said on social media his team tried to "push through all the challenges and obstacles along the way but could not get through."

"I would love to thank my incredible staff for everything they have done, and the hard work they out in every day. Thank you to the Metcalfe family for giving us a chance in the beautiful grocery store. Last but not least, thank you to the patrons of this location and the support we received!"

Pawlak added there will be a focus on the original East Side and Bay View locations.

Pawlak recently appeared as a contestant on the "Hell's Kitchen " last year and was eliminated from the competition in March.
