Wauwatosa Residents Share Most Dangerous Intersections: Survey

Patch asked Wauwatosa readers what intersection was the worst in the city. One intersection had more than one mention.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Wauwatosa residents were asked on Tuesday what intersections were the most dangerous in the city. A lot of them had different answers but only one intersection got more than one mention.

Patch asked, "What is the most dangerous intersection in town? And what would you do to fix it?" There were 41 comments left and almost each of them mentioned a different intersection, though some were on the same street.

Two comments mentioned N. 68th Street and Milwaukee Avenue.

"Not most dangerous, but I want to say Milwaukee and 68th is broken. The southbound traffic is basically unable to turn 95 percent of the time. Between poor visibility, sudden turning traffic, poor clarity of what's happening in all 5 east-west lanes, and the invisibility of Mountain, it's chaos at rush hour. There needs to be an all-direction stop sign." — MtZion Pastor
