Casper Area Chamber Of Commerce: CALC Announces Last-Minute Makeup Info Session

Due to the weather conditions, Wednesday, Jan. 5, the Lee and Felicia Castellow Adult Learning Center at Casper College will offer three makeup orientation sessions Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 9 a.m. and 1 and 6 p.m.

According to Chelse DePaolo-Lara, the decision to hold a makeup session was reached late Friday. “We decided to host a makeup Info Session Tuesday because the bad weather kept many from attending this week,” DePaolo-Lara, director of adult education and lifelong learning, said.

The service is free and open to the public. The High School Equivalency preparation includes social studies, science, language arts, reading, writing, and math. The orientation session is required for all students who want to earn their High School Equivalency Certificate.

The orientation sessions will occur at the CALC, located in the Werner Technical Center on the Casper College campus. For more information, call 307-268-2230.
