Laramie County man charged with felony on suspicion of pointing rifle at surveyor (capcity.news) — Law enforcement in Cheyenne report that a Laramie County man has been charged with felonies after allegedly pointing a rifle at a project manager photographing nearby property. Deputies say the confrontation happened near Road 124 and Yellowstone Road, and investigators later arrested the suspect at his Old Faithful Road home after matching him to photos provided by the surveyor.
   

2. LCSD1 virtual days alleviate need to extend the school year (wyomingnews.com) — Families in Cheyenne’s Laramie County School District 1 are being reminded how virtual learning days work so the district can avoid extending the school year into June. When bad weather or emergencies hit, LCSD1 may shift to online instruction, with teachers preparing student iPads in advance and ParentSquare sending official notices by 5:30 a.m.

Tunes on the Trail seeking new Wyoming musicians for summer 2026 (oilcity.news) — From Cheyenne, state parks officials are inviting Wyoming musicians to apply for intimate, unplugged “Tunes on the Trail” concerts at state parks and historic sites in summer 2026.
