- The Alabama Boat Show and Expo will be returning this weekend to Birmingham. Presented by AmFirst, the event will feature the latest and the greatest in boats from Alabama dealers and will benefit the AmFirst charitable foundations. The show kicks off Friday at Barber Motorsports Park and runs through Sunday. (WIAT - CBS42.com)

- On Tuesday morning, a tractor-trailer carrying 40,000 pounds of chicken fat overturned on Dead Man’s Curve. The 18-wheeler toppled shortly before 11 a.m. on Interstate 20 westbound at the Interstate 59 interchange. No one was injured in the wreck, according to Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service Battalion Chief Sebastian Carrillo. (AL.com)
