Family Of Dead Birmingham Man Sought By Jefferson County Coroner

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office is trying to find any family members of a man found dead in his home.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — The Jefferson County Coroner's Office is trying to locate family members of a man found dead in his Birmingham home. James Earl Thomas, 75, was found dead Feb. 8 in the 1900 block of Woodland Avenue SW.

The coroner's office said Thomas was born in Georgia, lived in Houston County in the 1970s, lived in Montgomery County in the 1980s and in Jefferson County since 2008.

ANyone who may have knowledge of family for Thomas is asked to please call the Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office at 205-930-3603.
