AL High School Football Polls: Bucs Ranked In Top 5
The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its preseason high school football polls Monday.
MONTGOMERY, AL — The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its preseason high school football polls Monday, and Hoover High School will begin its season ranked in the top 10. The Bucs finished 2020 with an 11-2 record.
Regional rival Thompson, the defending 7A champs, claimed the top spot in the ASWA preseason rankings.

The Bucs are scheduled to participate in the Corky Kell Classic to open the season. They will play Georgia power North Gwinnett on Aug. 21.
