After 14 years, Hoover High School's head football coach Josh Niblett announced he is leaving the Bucs.

HOOVER, AL — Josh Niblett, Hoover High School's football coach for the last 14 seasons, announced Friday he is stepping down. Niblett won six state championships as the Bucs head coach.
Niblett is not retiring from coaching, however. Sources told AL.com that Niblett will be announced as the new head coach at Gainesville (Ga.) High next week.
"Today has been hard," Niblett said in an announcement Friday morning. "It’s been tough. Everything that has transpired today has been pretty quick. I’ve never thought about leaving Hoover. I’m not that kind of guy. I’m not a job searcher. I’m not sitting on the computer looking at football scoop to see what the next job is. It’s just not me. I’ve always been where my feet are."
