HOOVER, AL — A new Creole restaurant is now open in The Village at Lee Branch along the 280 corridor. Kamali Creole Kitchen opened earlier in October, according to a Hoover Sun report.
The restaurant is owned by Ryan and Qiana Emery, who started the business as a food truck, and decided to build on the popularity of the business by opening the restaurant at 611 Doug Baker Blvd.
Kamali Creole Kitchen’s menu features different types of oysters, various styles of po’boys, a seafood bowl, crawfish etouffée, shrimp etouffée and other favorites such as jambalaya, gumbo and red beans and rice.
