  3. Hoover hosted National Night Out this past Tuesday in the Belk parking lot at the Riverchase Galleria, the first National Night Out in Hoover since 2019. Multiple police and specialty team units attended and the community could interact with them, including the FBI, U.S. Marshalls, and more. The event was meant to connect the community with law enforcement and also featured food trucks, music, inflatable kids activities, and more. • Agriculture in the North Alabama region is important and it should be celebrated! The Agriculture Adventure Trail is a new trail spotlighting all businesses and farms that are either selling agriculture-related products or teaching about agriculture. (Visit North Alabama via Instagram)
  • Another beautiful scene was captured in North Alabama earlier this week. You can see in images at the link a vertical sun pillar that shines from the sun and reflects off the clouds, normally only seen during sunrise or sunset. (James Spann via Instagram)
  • This a reminder that the basketball gym at the Hoover Recreation Center is officially open today after being closed earlier this week. (Hoover, Alabama - Parks & Recreation via Facebook)
