Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

Coach Morgan goes above and beyond her duties in all capacities that she works. As a teacher and coach, she expects her students and athletes to rise to a higher expectation than those around them. She makes sure they have the necessities they need to be successful. This could be anything from the staple classroom supplies to buying running spikes for her cross country runners. She also wears the badge of police officer in her off time. While on duty, she facilitates a strong connection between police field and the community.
