On Sunday, November 28, 2021, at approximately 4:40 p.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Ogburn Avenue in reference to two individuals shot. Upon arrival, they located two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries.

Ms. Quanita Fletcher, 29, one of the victims, later died as a result of her injuries.
The second female victim, age 28, remains in critical condition.

Mobile Police Department is currently looking for Marquis L. Gray as he is wanted for questioning in this case. This is an active investigation. UPDATE:
The Mobile Police Department reports that Marquis L. Gray, 28, turned himself in today, November 29, 2021. He was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder connected to the 1800 block of Ogburn Avenue.
