City Of Mobile Police Department: Homicide Investigation On The 300 Block Of Weinacker Avenue

On Monday, September 27, 2021, at approximately 12:58 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of Weinacker Avenue in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, police officers made found a 19-year-old male victim shot. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries. Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined the victim and suspects were involved in a verbal dispute that turned physical. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim and the suspects fired shots at each other. The detectives will present the evidence to a Grand Jury.
