Their visit included prayers for lives lost during the Civil Rights Movement, a massive group photo on the Capitol steps, and a community lunch at Vaughn Park before continuing toward Tuskegee.

See ornaments by Montgomery students on National Christmas Tree in DC (montgomeryadvertiser.com) — Montgomery Christian fourth- and fifth-graders created the ornaments now decorating Alabama’s state tree in the 2025 National Christmas Tree display near the White House.
