NORTHPORT, AL — Northport will once again transform in the North Pole when it host its fifth annual Holiday Open House on Dec. 16.

The city says the event is scheduled for 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and will feature visits from Santa Claus, who will share hot chocolate and cookies with attendees.

Children can also look forward to a special appearance by Elsa and Anna, with organizers hinting they may bring “a sprinkle of snow” with them.
One of the event’s most popular attractions, the Northport Express, will once again offer rides around City Hall for children.

City officials also teased a possible appearance by the Grinch, who has attempted to “sneak in” during past celebrations before being thwarted by the Northport Police Department.
The event is free and open to the public.
