Dr. Jane Weida, a Tuscaloosa physician and professor in the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine at the University of Alabama, will guest conduct Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.”

Patrons are also invited to a “Cheers-n-Chat” reception at 6 p.m., which will feature holiday music by Encore, the Alabama Choir School’s new chamber ensemble. The event will include wine, hors d’oeuvres and remarks from Maestro Adam Flatt, with proceeds benefiting the symphony’s music education programs across west Alabama.

Limited seats are available for the event, along with savings through the TSO’s Holiday +1 or Choose Your Own packages.
