4 Dead, 2 Injured In Weekend Shootings
It was a deadly weekend in Phoenix, with four people shot and killed in four separate incidents.
PHOENIX, AZ — It was a violent weekend in Phoenix.
Four people died from apparent gunshot wounds on Saturday and Sunday, according to Phoenix police. Two others were seriously injured. Police are investigating all four deaths as homicides. None of the victims were identified.
One man died Saturday afternoon after he was involved in an argument that escalated into a shooting, Phoenix police said.

The shooting happened around 1 p.m. near 10th Street and Buckeye Road. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The shooter left the scene before police arrived, according to a news release from Phoenix police.
Two men were shot at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue. One was pronounced dead on the scene; the other was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, according to a news release from Phoenix police.

A 16-year-old boy died of an apparent gunshot wound early Sunday morning. Phoenix police found the boy around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Cave Creek Road and Greenway Parkway, according to police.
The teen was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The teen had left a nearby party that was being broken up shortly before he was shot, police said.
One man is dead and another was in critical condition after both suffered gunshot wounds around 5 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 44th and Van Buren streets, according to Phoenix police. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was transported to a local hospital.
Witnesses heard yelling and an argument prior to the shooting, police said.
