600 Jobs Across Arizona: CVS Announces 1-Day Hiring Event
There are openings in the Tucson and the Phoenix areas for retail workers, pharmacy techs, pharmacists and more.

PHOENIX, AZ — In a one-day event, CVS Health is looking to hire 25,000 people across the country, 600 of them in Arizona.
On Friday the company is set to make hires for both new and existing positions to help the CVS deal with increased incidences of the flu while demand remains high for COVID-19 vaccines and testing, CVS said in a news release.
Most of the openings are for licensed pharmacists, trained pharmacy technicians and nurses at CVS Pharmacies and are set to be filled as soon as possible. The company is also looking to recruit retail store associates. There are plentiful openings in the Phoenix metro area as well as in Tucson.

The accelerated hiring event is aimed to ensure the company is adequately staffed to administer COVID-19 booster shots when they become available, as well as to continue offering initial doses of the vaccines to the unvaccinated. CVS Health offers online scheduling for both vaccinations and COVID-19 testing.
“Every flu season we need additional team members,” said Neela Montgomery, executive vice president of CVS Health and president of CVS Pharmacy, in the news release, “but this year we’re looking for even more. With the continued presence of COVID-19 in our communities, we’re estimating a much greater need for pharmacists, trained pharmacy technicians, nurses, and retail store associates. These jobs offer a rewarding opportunity to really make an impact on public health in our country.”
