- A Phoenix man has been arrested for shooting at vehicles on an Avondale freeway. Raymond Pipkin, 29 years old, faces various charges including first-degree murder. According to the Avondale Police Department, one victim was killed during the incident and five others were injured. (Arizona's Family)
- The Phoenix Art Museum is featuring an exhibit by Japanese artist Mr. The exhibit features paintings and sculptures which explore Japanese society. The exhibit will be appreciated by manga and anime enthusiasts. It will be showcased through mid-March. (KJZZ)
- Employees from at least two metro Phoenix Starbucks stores picketed on Starbucks's Red Cup Day. The day is when red Starbucks cups are first distributed for the holiday season. It is considered a flagship sales event for Starbucks. The employees protested working conditions. (Phoenix New Times)
