Cardinals Acquire WR Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown In Trade With Ravens
Brown had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns for Baltimore last season. He was a college teammate of Arizona QB Kyler Murray.

LAS VEGAS, NV—Hollywood is coming to the valley. Hollywood Brown that is.
The Arizona Cardinals acquired wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown Thursday from the Baltimore Ravens in a draft-day deal. The Cardinals sent their first-round pick, No. 23 overall, to Baltimore in exchange for Brown. The Cardinals also received a third-round pick from the Ravens, No. 100 overall.
Brown was a college teammate of Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray at Oklahoma, and Murray was excited about the deal, tweeting "Let's run it back Hollywood to the desert ... Y'all welcome my boy."

The Cardinals have not signed Murray to a long-term contract extension, though the team did pick up his fifth-year option on Wednesday, trying him to Phoenix for two more seasons.
The move to acquire Brown should also help make the signal-caller happy, especially because it gives the Cardinals' offense another weapon.
Brown, who was the No. 25 pick in the 2019 draft, had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns for the Ravens last season, though he did have seven dropped passes. He has 2,361 yards and 21 touchdowns in 46 career games.
"(Brown) makes sense for a number of reasons," Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim told reporters on Thursday. "Two years of controlled costs, a dynamic receiver who has played inside and outside, obviously the chemistry with our quarterback, and is a vertical threat."
Brown will join a receiving corps that features wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore and A.J. Green and tight end Zach Ertz. Free-agent wide receiver Christian Kirk signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"There are lots of playmakers," Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury told the media. "When we are distributing the ball, that's when we are at our best."
Meanwhile, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson appeared to express his displeasure at Baltimore's trade of Brown, his good friend, when he tweeted "wtf" during the NFL Draft.
