Chili’s Offers Two-Week Restaurant Promotion to Support Waste Not
Dine at Chili's Valley locations May 12-25 to raise funds for Waste Not

For the two weeks beginning May 12 and continuing through May 25, all the Valley locations of Chili’s Bar & Grill will donate 15% of each customer’s check when they tell their server they are dining there to support Waste Not. In addition, customers will be offered the opportunity to add their own donation to Waste Not, if they desire. Every dollar donated provides 5 meals for those most in need of food assistance.
“Chili’s is an outstanding partner to Waste Not and the people we serve throughout the Valley,” says Waste Not executive director, Hillary Bryant. “This annual promotion – which was suspended during the pandemic -- is enthusiastically supported by their employees, who are excited to help give back to the communities in which they live. Donations generated by this program in previous years have provided more than a million meals to feed the hungry in our community.”
Seven days a week, Waste Not collects nutritious perishable foods that would otherwise go to landfills from local food businesses, including caterers, resorts and event foodservice, and delivers it to people in need of food assistance that very same day. Last year, Waste Not rescued nearly 3.5 million meals and kept more than 1,700 tons of edible food from area landfills.

“One in 4 children in Arizona don’t have adequate access to nutritious food. Given our three pillars of giving for Chili’s – family, education and hunger – it was really easy for me to embrace Waste Not and look for ways Chili’s can help,” notes Nick Kretsedemas, director of operations, Arizona market, Chili’s.
