COVID Vaccines Or Negative Tests Required At Many Arizona Venues
A list of independent venues across the Valley and In Tucson now require concert-goers to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or to test negatively.
PHOENIX, AZ — Concert-goers at independent venues across the state will be required to provide proof of either COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative test, starting Monday Sept. 20.
Several independent venues made the announcement Aug. 19 about the updated COVID-19 safety protocols via a Facebook post from Luckyman Concerts, which promotes events at venues across Arizona.
Just a sampling of the venues implementing the requirements are The Nile theater in Mesa, The Rialto Theatre and 191 Toole in Tucson and Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. Celebrity Theatre is offering free COVID-19 testing prior to all of its events, according to its website. If you plan to attend a concert after Sept. 20, be sure to check your venue's website to confirm requirements and restrictions.
