Dirt Bike Rider Dies In Crash With Phoenix Police Tahoe: Police

The two vehicles collided Wednesday evening on Sweetwater Avenue.

PHOENIX, AZ — Police have identified the man who died in a collision between a dirt bike and a Phoenix police Tahoe Wednesday evening.

Brant Antwon Deshawn, 32, was headed east on Sweetwater Avenue around 6 p.m. Wednesday when the bike he was riding collided with the Tahoe, police said in a news release. The Tahoe was headed west on Sweetwater Avenue and was trying to turn left onto 39th Avenue when the two vehicles collided, according to police.

The dirt bike did not have a headlight, police said.

Deshawn was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The officer driving the Tahoe was uninjured.
