Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:

  1. Phoenix and Tempe fire crews rescued an injured woman off the Papago Park mountain trail on Sunday morning. 2. The inaugural ZONA Music Festival, scheduled for Dec. 3-4 in downtown Phoenix, has added another stage and several new acts. Since the original event announcement in late August, event organizers have revealed the creation of a fourth stage at Margaret T. Hance Park. You can visit the ZONA Music Festival website for more information, including a full roster of participating performers. (Phoenix New Times)
  3. A south Phoenix school's food pantry is supporting families in need while teaching students valuable lessons. The pantry at VH Lassen Elementary School is open to the community on Wednesdays from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and serves 250-500 people each month. It's set up in a grocery-style model and is integrated into the curriculum, teaching students about marketing, humanities, and more. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
