New Guy Fieri Restaurant To Open In Chase Field Sportsbook

PHOENIX, AZ —With the lockout still in place, MLB teams have not announced any Major League transactions in several weeks.

However, the Arizona Diamondbacks have added a well-known name to the lineup at Chase Field.

On Monday, the Diamondbacks and Caesars Entertainment, Inc. announced that a Guy Fieri restaurant will be opening in the Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field.

Fieri, the celebrity chef and restaurateur, already has five Flavortown Kitchens located in the Valley, according to the company's website.

Flavortown Kitchen is a delivery-only chain, but the Chase Field location will be Fieri's first sit-down restaurant in Arizona, according to the Arizona Republic.

The new restaurant is scheduled to open its doors this spring and will be open year-round. It will anchor the sportsbook an bar located in the space formerly occupied by the Game 7 Grill on the Plaza, the Diamondbacks said.

The Caesars Sportsbook is a 20,000-square-foot, two-story venue that features both indoor and outdoor seating options, a full-service bar, VIP lounge, an extensive menu and wall-t0-wall TVs.

"We believe this is a rare and exciting opportunity for individuals who are driven to deliver a high‐quality, high‐service dining experience for guests and sports fans," said Derrick Hall, the Diamondbacks president and CEO. "This is a chance to get in on the ground level of a unique, fresh and fun concept in food, gaming and baseball at Chase Field."

In addition to his Flavortown Kitchens in Arizona, Fieri has featured over 30 locations in the state on his Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."

No specifics have been given about the menu for the new Fieri restaurant at Chase Field, but the Flavortown Kitchen menu features burgers, sandwiches, pasta, chicken wings and desserts.
