Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:

  1. Four local restaurants will be featured on Netflix’s new season of "Taco Chronicles." On season three, titled Cross The Border, multiple Arizona eateries — Taco Boy’s, Tacos Chiwas, Bacanora, and Fry Bread House — will be featured to highlight the "flavors" of the state. The new season will be released on Nov. 23. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
  2. Frontier Airlines has announced new nonstop service from Phoenix to six locations with more on the way. Beginning today, Nov. 5, the airline will offer nonstop daily flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale, Detroit, Portland, and Orange County, CA, as well as flights to Cincinnati four days a week. According to the company, six more routes will start during the winter, totaling 23 non-stop flights from the Valley of the Sun. (Arizona's Family)
  3. The Phoenix Convention Center wants to create a downtown entertainment district. To better compete with other markets across the United States and draw in more visitors downtown, the center is considering a big expansion of its south building, a new hotel, and the creation of a new entertainment district. Currently, the Phoenix Convention Center south building, located just north of Chase Field on the northeast corner of Jefferson and 3rd streets, does not have a branded entertainment district like other well-known markets.
