- Arizona Humane Society: "Looking for a temporary roommate? Gordo would be happy to 'Netflix and chill' with you! This handsome Labrador Retriever needs a place to rest his paws for a few weeks while his family gets back on their feet. Unfortunately, many families like Gordo's have been impacted by the current housing crisis. But AHS is lending a paw through our temporary owned pet foster program, Project Home Away From Home. These pets already have loving families, but would benefit from the love of a Foster Hero. In exchange for a comfy spot on your couch, Gordo promises to be a great house guest. He has already lived with other dogs, cats, and children. He gets along with everyone!" (Facebook)
- City of Phoenix: "September marks the return of the monarch butterfly to Phoenix, but our pollinator friends are currently struggling!
