PHOENIX, AZ —Toronto Raptors fans gathered in "Jurassic Park" outside the city's Scotiabank Arena during the team's run to the 2019 NBA title. Last summer, "The Deer District" outside Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum was the place to be for anybody without game tickets during the Bucks' NBA title run.

The Phoenix Suns (62-14) have the best record in the league this season and are considered one of the favorites, if not the favorite, to win the NBA title. Now, Suns fans will have a gathering spot where they can watch what they hope will be a run to glory: Rally Beach.

On Thursday, the Suns organization unveiled plans for the 12,000-square-foot fan zone that will be located adjacent to the Footprint Center during Suns home playoff games.

The beach, which will be sponsored by Gila River Resorts & Casinos, will feature a 20-foot LED screen, food and beverage trucks, rotating DJs and plenty of chances for fans to win prizes, including getaway packages for Gila River Resorts & Casinos and its exclusive Oasis Pool Parties.

The team also said there will be "tons of sand for jumping up and down and victory dances."

Rally Beach is a ticketed area, and the Suns pointed out that a ticket to the beach will not allow for entry into the Footprint Center at any time.

Though essentially for the playoffs, Rally Beach is set to make its debut during the Suns' regular-season finale on April 8 against the Sacramento Kings. Tickets to that event are $10 and can be purchased online. Game time is still yet to be determined.

The Suns also announced this week that they will be bringing back Road Game Rallies inside the Footprint Center during the playoffs, much like they had during last season's run to the NBA Finals.

The rallies — which give fans a chance to gather and watch the team's road playoff games on the arena's LED video board — welcomed over 12,000 fans at times last season.

Once again, the rallies will feature general admission seating. Attendees will be able to enjoy live entertainment from Suns Dancers, the Suns Dunk Team and Hype Squad as well as featured DJs and host Alicia-Monique Blanco. Plus, "Tees for Threes" returns along with chances to score prizes and autographed merchandise, the team said.

The first Road Game Rally actually will take place during the Suns' final road game of the 2022 regular season on April 8 against the Utah Jazz. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. and doors and concessions will open at 6 p.m.

Tickets to the first Road Game Rally are $15 and available online.
