Teen Arrested Following Fatal Shooting: Police
A man died at a local hospital after suffering an apparent gunshot wound.
PHOENIX, AZ — A man died from an apparent gunshot wound and a teen was arrested Monday night in Phoenix, according to a news release from Phoenix Police.
Police arrested the 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder after he was found at the scene of the shooting, police said. Police did not the release the identities of the man or the teen.
Around 11:30 p.m. Monday the man was shot near the intersection of 35th and Dunlap avenues, according to police. The man was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition, police said. He was later pronounced dead.

Police warned that the area of the shooting would be restricted for some time as police talk to witnesses and gather evidence.
