Two Killed In Separate Phoenix Labor Day Shootings
Police are in the midst of investigating both homicides and are asking for information from the public regarding either shooting.
PHOENIX, AZ — Two men died Monday night in Phoenix in separate shootings, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Arturo Enriquez Marmolejo, 24, was found suffering from a gunshot wound at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of North 26th Place, police said. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
As of Tuesday morning police were investigating the events that led up to the shooting, according to a news release from Phoenix police.

The other man was shot around 9:32 p.m. Monday, after getting into an argument with a suspect in the 3900 block of North 83rd Avenue, according to Phoenix police.
First responders with the Phoenix Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene, police said.

Police had not identified a suspect in the case as of Tuesday morning.
Anyone who has information about either shooting is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department, or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
