Vaccine Incentive Program: Phoenix Hands Out $100 Gift Cards

PHOENIX, AZ — The city is offering $100 gift cards to people who get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 through city-sponsored events, according to a news release from the city.

Those who receive a full course of COVID-19 shots at city vaccination events are eligible to receive a $100 gift card for either a local grocery store or gas station.

These vaccine incentives are part of a pilot program approved by the city council that is meant to "increase vaccination rates in underserved communities" according to the news release.

The city operates two vans that travel around Phoenix to offer testing in different areas and hosts testing and vaccination events across Phoenix. Some of the mobile events also offer vaccinations.
