Chandler Police Shooting Body Camera Video Released
Chandler police released body camera footage of a September police shooting.
CHANDLER, AZ — Chandler Police released body camera footage of a police shooting on Sept. 17 in the 3500 block of West Chandler Boulevard that left one man injured.
The incident began as a report of a possible domestic dispute at a Chandler hotel, police said in a press release, and ended when Brandon Aldecoa is accused of shooting at officers, who then returned fire. Aldecoa was injured in the shooting and was treated for critical injuries.
Aldecoa is charged on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault of a police officer, possession of a weapon by a prohibited person and discharging a firearm within the city limits, according to court documents.
