Worker Killed When SUV Hits Truck Parked In Median

PHOENIX, AZ — A worker was killed Wednesday afternoon when an SUV smashed into a work truck parked in the median near the intersection of Cave Creek Road and Dynamite Boulevard in Phoenix, according to police.

The worker was standing behind the truck parked in the median when the SUV hit it, causing the truck to hit the worker. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital and was in critical condition, police said. The identities of the two men were not released.
