Here are the top three stories in Yuma today:
- A military aircraft crashed north of Yuma on Thursday evening. This is the second military aircraft to crash this week near Yuma. Thankfully, nobody was killed during Thursday's crash. One crew member was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident. (ABC 15 News)
- Yuma's melon production has created a higher supply compared to demand. Sales of cantaloupes and honeydews decreased following the Memorial Day weekend. Sellers are hopeful that demand will increase leading into the Fourth of July holiday. (Fresh Plaza)
- The Yuma County Sheriff's Office is searching for two burglary suspects. One of the two individuals was identified through video surveillance at a shop on County 15th Street on Jun. 1. Anyone with information about 36-year-old Juan Correa or the unidentified female is asked to contact the department. (KYMA)
