Amerischool plans to open new middle school with e-sports team (kyma.com) — A new AmeriSchools charter middle school is coming to Yuma’s South campus for the 2026–27 year, starting with sixth and seventh graders and adding eighth grade later. The school will feature small classes, two teachers per grade, and Yuma’s first middle school e-sports program, giving students a tech-focused, personalized learning option close to home.
   

2. Vista High School hosts "Winter Wonderland" open house (kyma.com) — Vista High School in Yuma just hosted a festive “Winter Wonderland” open house to help local families explore its programs and campus. Prospective students met teachers and current students, asked questions about academics, and enjoyed photos with Santa and the Grinch. The school plans similar “Why Vista” events twice each semester for those who couldn’t attend.
