3 Injured In Oakland Shooting: Police

Three people were injured in a shooting in East Oakland Saturday night, police said.

OAKLAND, CA — Three people were injured in a shooting in East Oakland Saturday night, police said.

Officers responded to the 8300 block of Bancroft Avenue just after 10:45 p.m. after getting a notice of a shooting via ShotSpotter gunshot detection technology, according to police. The officers found a victim with a gunshot wound, police said.

Paramedics took the victim to the hospital, where the victim was listed in stable condition, according to police.

Shortly afterward, officers were notified of a victim with gunshot wounds in the 7300 block of Bancroft Avenue. A preliminary investigation revealed that this victim was also wounded during the shooting on the 8300 block, according to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
