This class offers a harmonious blend of slow, deliberate movement and deep, sustained stretches, creating a peaceful yet dynamic practice.
The class starts with a slow flow that gradually transitions to yin yoga where each pose is held for 2-3 minutes, allowing for a deep release of tension in the body’s connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia.
The slow pace of the transitions, combined with the long-held poses, creates a space for introspection and relaxation, making it ideal for releasing both physical and emotional tension.
The focus is on cultivating a mindful connection to the breath and sensations in the body, allowing practitioners to deepen their awareness with each movement and breath and to resent their nervous system.
