ALTADENA, CA — The Altadena Sheriff's Station has released the latest crime blotter for the week.
Incidents featured in the blotter occurred from Sept. 12 to 18.
Sunday, Sept. 12th

11:24 a.m. – A robbery occurred in the 2900 block of N. El Nido Drive. A child was identified as a person of interest.
Monday, Sept. 13th

4:07 a.m. – A commercial burglary occurred in the 2200 block of N. Lake Avenue. The suspected burglar(s) entered the business by shattering the glass door. Stolen items included costume jewelry and money.
9:30 p.m. – A battery occurred in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive.
Tuesday, Sept. 14th
11:45 a.m. – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive. A child was identified as a suspect.
Between 2:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. – Two attempted vehicle burglaries occurred in the 1700 block of N. Altadena Drive. Suspect(s) attempted to enter the vehicle by prying the door lock.
3:30 p.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the area of Woodbury Road and Garfield Avenue. The car was recovered by the Covina Police Department.
5:05 p.m. – A car was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Midwick Drive. The car was described as a black 1996 Honda Accord. The car has not been recovered.
Wednesday, Sept. 15th
11:40 a.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 2300 block of Ganesha Avenue. The suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the glass door.
2:00 p.m. – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 2100 block of E. Washington Boulevard. A suspect was taken into custody.
7:04 p.m. – A 31-year-old Valley Village man was arrested in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Wyoming Street on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
Between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. (Thursday) – A car was vandalized in the 1000 block of Boston Street.
Thursday, Sept. 16th
1:10 p.m. – A grand theft from a car occurred in the 1100 block of New York Drive. A lawnmower and leaf pruner was reported stolen.
6:25 p.m. – A domestic violence incident occurred in the 2000 block of Grand Oaks Avenue. A suspect was identified.
Between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. (Friday) – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 3300 block of Canyon Crest Road. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the window. A Gucci handbag, Gucci wallet and Versace purse were reported stolen.
Between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (Friday) – A commercial burglary occurred in the 2000 block of E. Washington Boulevard. Suspect(s) entered the location via the open window. A glass door and electric drill were stolen.
Saturday, Sept. 18th
Between 1:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. – A car burglary occurred in the 1400 block of N. Roosevelt Avenue. The car’s catalytic converter was reported stolen.
