Altadena Library District: Protocol Updates – Building Reopening

Please Note the Updated Safety Protocols for Entry into the Altadena Libraries (Updated January 20, 2022)

Before entering the Altadena Libraries, please follow these guidelines:

1. Stay home if you are sick with symptoms of COVID, such as a cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, headache, runny or stuffy nose, fever, or chills or if you are currently under quarantine or isolation.
2. Masks are required when indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
3. Be considerate and keep your distance (about 2 arms lengths) from others.
4. Clean your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer after contact with frequently touched surfaces.

The Altadena Library District is pleased to continue with its phased reopening, following public health guidelines allowing libraries to open with limited capacity. The Bob Lucas Memorial Library and the entirety of the Main Library will be open for limited hours to help meet needs for computer access and bring back the joy of browsing!

As of the week of January 24, 2022, the following service hours are in effect:

Main Library

Monday & Tuesday: 10:00am – 8:00pm
Wednesday – Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday: Closed

Outdoor Seating & Power Access

Monday & Tuesday: 9:00am – 7:30pm
Wednesday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 3:30pm

Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Weekends: Closed

Outdoor Seating & Power Access

Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Curbside pickup at the Main Library is by appointment only. Call (626) 798-0833 to request a curbside appointment. Pickup will take place at the foot of the stairs by the parking lot entrance.
